The countdown to GEN CON 2012 has started and is
just over seven months away. AUGUST 16-19.

GEN CON
2011: GEN
CON 2011 is now an historic event. I hope that everyone that came out and played in any of the AA events at this years
convention had
a great time. At this time, I would like to thank everyone that did make the trek to Indy and participated in any of
the events we run. Without you, there would be no need to do what we do. We did miss Larry this year. Unfortunately
he was unable to attend and we hope that next year he can stop in... IF ANYONE HAS ANY PICTURES
THEY TOOK at GEN CON and they would like to share with all, please forward them to me and I will post them with the others
below!
I would also like to take this moment to thank all the sponsors that support our Axis & Allies habit,
especially: Wizards of the Coast/Avalon Hill, Larry Harris Game Design, The Trophy Cup, HAASCO Printing,
Pam Read, Craig Yope, my two fearless assistants GM's Mike Davis and Kelly Thye, and the two following links:
Again,
congrats to all the winners of this year’s event as well as to all that came out played (some for the first time) and
just enjoyed the whole GEN CON experience. Look forward to next year...!

GEN CON 2011 RESULTS! As for the results.
Hands down, AA50 was the most played and sought after game. The AA50 Tournament was a SELL OUT with over some 24 team
competing in the event. The second biggest draw was the War at Sea Miniatures events. We had a sell out in both
the League and the Tournament. Great showing guys. And third, the AA for Beginners events. All these events
were SOLD OUT as well and they kept Mike busy throughout the CON...Mike you are the greatest, thanks! And last, if you
can believe this, the Classic 2nd Edition Tournament out did the 1942 tourney, not by much but still, it made a better showing.
Not sure what that says about '42 but it is what it is...
